If your wisdom teeth are at risk of causing you problems, extraction can be recommended.
In some cases, wisdom teeth never cause any problems. However, they can also cause acute or chronic problems. To have them removed before the apparition of any symptoms reduces the risk of a complication arising.
With X-rays, your surgeon dentist can determine the risks that your wisdom teeth might cause problems. If this is the case, he might recommend extraction.
